THE GG RETURNS YET AGAIN

The GG is back after what seemed like a long hiatus. I’d heard of writer’s block before but never expected mine to be near fatal. But the good news for you loyal readers is that I have overcome that dreaded disease and am now ready to resume my role as the blogosphere’s prime grouch. And it looks like there’s plenty of topics to grouch over -- in addition to the usual assortment of everyday irritants, we now have the Zimmerman case to talk about. Rest assured, I will not fail you there -- the GG certainly doesn’t want to be known as the only commentator in the universe who failed to offer up an opinion on that matter. I get grouchy just thinking about it. And our would-be servants in the nation’s capital are still with us providing enough fodder to fill up a universe of grouch blogs. Thinking about them makes me even grouchier. But the thing that makes me grouchiest of all is the current state of our once proud national pastime of major league baseball. Since that is foremost on my withering mind, my first comeback offering will be directed to that subject, and look out – it will be a fastball thrown high and inside! So set those frowns in place, charge up those grouch meters and keep reading. GG
